pyOGSI client
  • Python Open Grid Services Infrastructure
  • Compatible with GT3 java OGSI server
Downloads web-services description language(wsdl) files describing a service from a server, and generates client-side stubs to do rpc with that service. Anonymous access to partially functional, working (or not) code.

OAKRIDGE
System Administration tool for Virtual Organizations:
  • For use with the Globus Toolkit
  • Monitor/Add/Delete hosts and jobs in the VO
  • Configure and start/stop GIS
  • Add/delete grid users in a VO
ORNL is developing a virtual machine that provide fault-tolerant and monitoring capabilities for a large virtual organization.
NERSC
ANL
VO Fine-Grain Authorization for Job Submission
Working with the SciDAC National Fusion Collaboratory we have made enhancements to the Globus Toolkit Job Manager to allow a VO to specify fine grain policy on the jobs the VO memebers are authorized to run. The demo utilizes Akenti, however the enhancements are designed to be flexible and work with systems such as the Community Authorization Service (from the SciDAC Security and Policy for Group Collaborations project).
PNNL
PNNL will be demonstrating a miniature version of their new HP parallel supercomputer, including:
  • 10x Hewlett-Packard RX2600 nodes each with:
    • 2x 1GHz Itanium 2 processors
    • 4 GB RAM
    • Quadrics Elan 3 Interconnect
  • 2x 3-Terabyte Lustre filesystem servers
The system represents 80 Gigaflops and 6 Terabytes altogether, and will be on the DOE Science Grid.
PNNL will also be demonstrating a Globus-ized version of Ucode, an inverse modeling code used at PNNL for groundwater flow modeling.
